In the Dog House!

Addy and Abby, two not so innocent canines!

My mom left her dog, Abby, with me while she went to help take care of a friend who just had surgery. Abby is a very well behaved white schnauzer. She and my dog, Addy, are about the same age (Addy's a little older).

I have had them both for a week now, and I am ready to sell them to the gypsies. It isn't really Abby. For the most part, she has done well. It is Addy, who is about to see her own demise. She is extremely jealous of Abby. So much so that one day I had taken her out to potty first. Next I took Abby out to potty and came in to find where Addy had left a few little presents behind my dining room table. Mind you she had just relieved herself not moments before. It was as if she was mad enough to show me, but not really in plain sight. This has happened at least twice more, and now Abby thinks that is where she is supposed to go potty!

I came home last night to find a frickin' lake behind the dining room table, as well as a few other presents both of them decided to leave me. I was furious! They both could tell, and didn't move for about an hour. Neither of them even begged when I was eating dinner in front of them!

So, if you know of any gypsies who might like to buy these two hellions, please give them my number!

Gives new understanding to the saying, "I'm in the dog house."

Thanks for the lawn care suggestion. Another friend suggested Scott's products, so between your idea and hers, maybe something will help.

Thanks too for blogging.

If you find these gypsies we can throw my cable-eating,swingset destroying Addy in on the wagon too!!! Dog are so wonderful and so much of a pain all at the same time!! Like my children...only worse!!! hahahaha

I will take the white schnauzer even though I'm not a gypsy. I love schnauzers more than children ... oops ... oh well it's not secret.

I have to disagree with Sherry about the dogs being worse ... kids are worse for me. A dog can be left at home while you get away for a vacation from their annoying behaviors. You can also put a dog in a cage and not go to jail for it.

And remember ... the #1 reason dogs are better than kids is because you can sell their young. Always looking to make a buck ...

So many presents it seems like Christmas! And they're gifts that keep on giving! Paige, you worry me!

My children have never runaway or eaten the cable or eaten a three foot hole in the fence or left "oceans" in the floor. Now my kids have thrown up on me, kept me awake all night, cost me a ton of money (WAIT..the dogs do that too!!!)...so maybe WORSE is not the exact word for it. I just need locked away...
3 children
3 dogs
3 hermit crabs
1 hamster
1 tarantula

Can you say ZOO??? :-)

There in lies the problem Sherry ... we've lived with different kids. Yours ARE better than dogs. :)

Oh my, this week I will definitely take kids over my old dog. Or I should say Kelly's old dog that lives with me.
I think I can match the presents behind the table;
this week Robyn ate $500. Well, almost. Lynn, in his wisdom, (you will have to ask him why), he left 5 - $100 bills out on the deck,
and Robyn found them and started eating them.
That is when I found her with a pile of half eaten money.
The next day, bless her heart, she left the digested remains on the deck, and with the water hose I was able to recover the remaining parts of the small fortune, enough to take to the bank in exchange for 5 - fresh, clean, $100 bills.
My lucky day, or I should say, Lynn's lucky day.

Yep, Celia....you do take the cake on that one! I'll keep an eye out for the gypsies and send them your way....just tell Lynn not to leave any money laying around or he might have more than problems with dogs.....

You are kind to your dogs. Signs of a good person

Signs of not so good a person....It sounded like a good idea to rub your child's nose in it when they pee peed behind the table.
