The Strangest Thing....

As I was driving home yesterday afternoon, I noticed that there was a dead cat lying on the corner of the intersection by my house. I think my neighborhood has a hex or something.

And no, I didn't stop to take a picture! (But I was tempted!)

Hey...figure out how that hex happened and come bring it to my block. There is a fat cat that thinks he owns the block. Drives my dog crazy...so she barks...and in turn drives the neighbors (and me) crazy! The cat has also decided it likes to sit on the hood of my car as well!! That darn cat!!! ARGH~~

When I lived on 58th Street, we had kitty gangs. It was freaky! The "godfather" cat I named Old Deuteronomy, after that roughed up fat cat in CATS. Incidentally, that was off of Utica as well....wait a minute, you live off of Utica, too. All of Utica is controlled by the Feline Mafia!

I used to work at a coffee shop in college with this guy, Jeep. That was his given name, too. He did record producing and his company was called Dead Cat something or other. His label had a picture of a dead cat.

The cat that was on the side of the road the other day was a pretty, fluffy kitty. It was sad.

What is this world coming to when even our sweet kitties are going bad. I'm going to make the best of it and start my own television series ... Kitties Gone Bad - The truth behind the Utica Cat Mafia.

That is, if they aren't all dead by the time I get my film crew together.

Is it possible that the Northside Kitties could be responsible for some of these mysterious deaths?

Wait a minute, I live on Utica. And now that you mention it, there was a dead cat lying RIGHT BETWEEN our parking lot & the road a couple of weeks ago... I had a rough time going around it. Good thing we have a small car. Could it be there is a plague of cats?

Sounds more like a plague on cats. I still think it's weird about the first cat. It's always hard when it's a cat that's familiar to you. Although, one less cat giving me the Sphinx-eye when I leave your house is OK by me. Just a shame it had to end so tragically.

You SO should have taken that picture!!! Well, you know, as long as its entrails hadn't become its extrails.

I bet it was that cat I shooed away from your front door! I really picked the wrong side of town to live in--I think this is where the witness protection kitties go to get away from the Utica Mafia.
